The city of Rancho Cucamonga offers a variety of events and family friendly outings.   Consider a picnic in the park at beautiful Central Park, bring your friends and/or family, grab a picnic basket and a blanket and enjoying dining outside in the mild temperatures fall offers.  Visit one of the farmers markets in Victoria Gardens or Terra Vista Town Center, offering fresh fruit and vegetables from our local farmers,  honey, meats and so much more.  Apple picking in the nearby historic Oak Glen.  Riley’s Farm is a working apple orchard where you can enjoy picking your own fruit, apple cider, living history education and a dinner theater.  You can visit Etiwanda Falls for a hike. Located in the North Etiwanda Preserves, you can explore the 15 foot falls and walk down the side to get a better view.  North Etiwanda Falls and Preserve Loop is a 4.7 mile lightly trafficked loop trail. Or you may want to stop by the Filippi Winery, where you can enjoy wine tasting before picking your favorite bottle.  Sports fan? Catch a game with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes or play golf at the nearby Empire Lakes course.  Love shopping??  Visit Ontario Mills with over 200 outlet shops, afterwards catch a movie at one of their multi-plex theatres.
